Aim2Runner

Hi, in this document I will show you how you to use this application. If you have any questions, please contact me.

                               PACE CALCULATOR

  1. Select the unit you want: km or miles.
  2. Select the variable you want to calculate: PACE, DISTANCE or TIME.
  3. Fill the gaps of the other 2 variables.
  4. Click the button to calculate.
In the example above, I selected that I wanted to know the time, so I filled the gaps of pace and distance.

                                        LAP TIME

In LAP TIME, you can choose the track distance that you want to monitor: 800m, 1000m, 1500m, 3000m or 5000m.
Ex: 3000 m

  1. Select the PACE you want.
  2. Click the button to calculate (so, the Lap Time (400m) and Forecast fields are completed).
  3. Then, when the race starts, press START button and the timer starts running.
  4. Then, every time the athlete passes the finish line, you press LAP and the program records the elapsed time and the difference to the planned time. (If the elapsed time is shorter than planned, the "Difference" appears in green; if it is longer, it appears in red).
  5. After pressing the LAP button at the entrance on the last lap, the LAP button becomes inactive. Then, when the athlete finishes the race, press the STOP button.
After pressing the STOP button, it changes color to orange and CLEAR appears. So to start a new race, press CLEAR, or just press START again.

                  RUNNING RACE TIME PREDICTOR
In RUNNING RACE TIME PREDICTOR, you can estimate your time for different distances, based on the time and distance of a recent race.

  1. Select a Recent Race Run, you have done.
  2. Fill the Time you made.
  3. Click the button to calculate.
 Note:
This calculation is made according to Riegel’s formula, which is a mathematical equation used to predict race times for runners. However, it does not take into account: age, gender, or type of runner, so it will be more useful for adult runners, with regular training!
